About Me
Hi, I’m Katarina Francesca
I’m an multimedia artist, designer, and DIYer based in central Florida. I have been a designer since 2015 and am originally from Brazil with a Chilean background.
I wholeheartedly believe in embracing a life that breaks free from conventional norms. I am fiercely passionate about encouraging others to discover their true passions and dedicate themselves to the pursuit of happiness. For me, that pursuit is art and design.

My Story
Everything changed In 2016. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. I had followed the traditional expectations for success: do well in school, earn a graduate degree, land a corporate job, and work up the corporate ladder. I was working 60 hour weeks, commuting 2.5 hours per day, and chronically stressed. I knew something had to change. Living a stressful life wasn’t worth putting my health at risk.
“There was a lot of unlearning to do. I had suppressed my art up until that point. I thought it could never be a realistic path, but at the root of me, it’s what I am meant to do.”
Studio on Wheels
I went back to school for graphic design and pioneered a new role for myself at work. Over the years, I've won awards, successfully grew the graphic design department at work, and expanded my graphic design, leadership, and organizational skills.
With a desire to travel and immerse myself into nature, I built a studio on wheels in my Ford Transit camper van. My goal was to experience the beauty in the US, live a slower-paced lifestyle, reconnect with my creative expression, and ultimately heal.
Sam & I
During my van build, I met Sam and he changed my life. We met through my van build and his bus build with his sister. We both have the desire to travel and experience life on the road, but my van was not handicap accessible, and needed to sell it. We are currently on the search for a handicap accessible campervan for the two of us.
